Rainn Wilson stars as Robert “Fish” Fishman, who was unsuccessful, thrown out drummer from the 80’s band Vesuvius. The story evolves with Fish, living his rock and roll dream ’til he was kicked out from the band he founded to begin with. After 20 years of living in a normal life, throwing away all the hopes he had to be a rock and roll star, his nephew Matt (Josh Gad) asked him to be the drummer of the band A.D.D. (Attention Defficiency Disorder).
The band consist of Curtis Wood (Teddy Geiger), the lead vocals and the guitarist, Amelia (Emma Stone), backup vocals and bassist, Matt Gadman (Josh Gad), keyboards and backup vocals, all there left was the drummer, since their original drummer got suspended from their school. In order for them to play in their prom, they would need to get a drummer, and so Matt decided to ask his Uncle Fish to join them. And so the story goes…
My first reaction was, whatthe, it’s like Rain is the equivalent to Jack Black of The School Of Rock. The only difference is that the band of Jack Black consists of 10-13 year old grade schoolers, equals to Rainn Wilson’s highschool teenage kids who plays well, and need not to be taught anymore.
Anyway, in terms of the comedy side, this made me laugh, really. But in terms of what’s gonna be the next scene, I pretty much know what’s gonna happen to whatever chaos the antagonist will bring, then would soon be alright again, since it’s like the part where, it should be a happy ending type of thing movie.
In terms of the soundtrack, my brother was actually surprise with how Teddy Geiger’s songs were written and played, well I give it an 8.
For the whole movie it self, it’s not that really bad, if you enjoyed School of Rock, you would also definitely enjoy this one. I give it 4 stars.

I’m going to check this one out
hehe, you better! :p
Doks and I should create a band named “The Mighty Vesuvius”… Then we’ll cover Cueshe songs…
